Tonight I have photography class, the last class of the semester! I just need to turn in my last assignment, some contact sheets and my portfolio. And that’s all, I’ll be done! So ready for winter break. I have no idea what I’m going to do with myself for the next month now that I’ll have actual free time. How about read something I’m not required to, take pictures that aren’t a part of an assignment, write because I feel like it and not trying to meet a word minimum? Sounds quite lovely.

I can’t believe it’s less than two weeks until Christmas! We’re done shopping, just waiting for all of the shipments to arrive. I already have boxes and boxes of gifts that need to be wrapped. I’m contemplating getting some wrapping done this weekend and then finishing up the rest Christmas weekend, or just waiting for all of the gifts to arrive and doing it once…

Here’s our Christmas tree! Are you wondering where all of the ornaments on the bottom half have disappeared to?

Oh gosh, how did they all get down there?

This Christmas I’d like to be a bit more low-key. With it being Claire’s first Christmas last year, we went a bit insane. I’ve always wanted to do an all handmade Christmas, and I think this year I’m going to aim for that. I’ll be doing some baking and sewing, and here are some awesome Etsy finds I’ve picked out.

Unicorn Purse from hookandastitch. Claire would love this, and it would make a nice buddy for her lamb purse.

We spent Easter this year with Andrew’s family in Charlottesville. It was a beautiful day and we ate at Guadalajara, probably the most amazing Mexican restaurant to ever exist.
