Yeah, this happened. Ready for your mind to be blown?
Usually when I make brownies I’ll stir in some cream cheese, but tonight I had a total hard on for chocolate and I decided to see how Nutella swirled brownies would taste. Spoiler: AH-mazing.

-
Start with a box of brownie mix and Nutella.
-
Whip up the brownies according to the package.
-
Take out two whopping spoonfuls of Nutella.
-
Scoop the Nutella on top of the brownie batter and marbleize.
-
Bake the brownies according the instructions.
-
Try to avoid burning yourself as you shove your face into the pan.
Try not to eat the Nutella from the jar with your hands. Not only is it unseemly, we’re trying to make some dang brownies here.
Pour the batter into whatever pan you’re using to bake them.
I guess this is ~3/4 cup. I don’t measure a lot in the kitchen. Really use as much (or as little, if you’re a weirdo and don’t want a lot of Nutella up in your brownies) as you want, put it in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 45 seconds to a minute. The Nutella should be easy to stir, if you’re using a lot of it1 put it in the microwave for 15 second increments until it’s easy to stir.

Pour the Nutella on top of the batter (don’t spread it out), and then using a skewer (or some other such pointy object) swirl the Nutella around the batter.

Bake the brownies according to the instructions, or until a knife inserted in the brownies comes out clean.

No judgments here, these are absolutely fantastic.
