Hi, I'm Mirko.

Two are my great passions in life:

Spend hours on Netflix and DJ.

And there's only one thing that lets you watch the best series and mix pieces like David Guetta: the tablet!

Secondo me is the right compromise between a laptop and a smartphone, especially if you want to enjoy a nice series on the sofa.

Halfway between the power of a notebook and the convenience of a phone is the tablet. And do you want to know what I chose? Well, Huawei has always been 🙂

By now the world seems to have only two brands: Apple and Samsung, and all like sheep to blindly follow the flock:

Huawei is the alternative to Apple and Samsung, for those who love to be out of the chorus and save money.

Here I am talking about professional and quality tablets, which do not yield to the usual compromises: devices up to the best known competitors, and this should already make you jump out of the chair.

You're here to look for the best Huawei tablet?

You want it too stand out in a world that knows only the usual big brands?

In this guide you will see with me the best Huawei tablets around and their characteristics in detail. In this way you will be able, in the end, to choose the best one for you.

Well then, let's proceed.

In this guide I will deal with those that are the best Huawei tablets, taking into account mainly the request from customers and the number of sales but above all of my personal experience.

Huawei is a Chinese company that in recent years is growing more and more. It produces smartphones, tablets, PCs and more. In 2019 I think it no longer needs an introduction. It has now largely overcome this phase.

Small note: just recently, in the middle of 2018, Huawei has overtaken Apple and has become the second smartphone manufacturer. In the first place, needless to say, Samsung.

Surprisingly then in the first quarter of 2019 he re-surpassed Apple and defiantly looks at Samsung, as if he were sure to grab that first place in the global sale of smartphones.

If I tell you Honor, what do you think? Bravo, a great smartphone, and I had it, as I told you before. He was a colossus, he overcame any stormy weather: he followed me on various trips I made in Europe and he resisted my carelessness very well.

But I'm not here to talk to you about phones but rather about tablets.

I had decided to buy one and asked some friends about it. Pino, my friend who wrote the tablet buying guide, had recommended the Samsung. Another friend instead wanted to get me started in the Apple world with his iPad.

But I wanted something else! I don't like being like others, I like to be noticed and make a difference. Wherever I turn I see either Samsung or Apple and I asked myself: "Is it possible that there are only two brands in this world?"

The answer was and still is no! There is Huawei, which contends the number of worldwide sales of tablets with them.

We also find Lenovo, Microsoft, Asus and many others. In short, you can choose something else and be different.

When I spotted the MediaPad M5 Pro I started to daydream. A professional tablet, top of the range, which cost less than its direct competitors but which was absolutely not a compromise. I couldn't resist and now it's my tablet, which I always carry with me.

In general we can say that Huawei offers a fairly varied choice at very competitive prices, supported by good design, excellent workmanship and enthusiastic customers who praise every single product with very positive words.

Whatever your need, Huawei can satisfy it.

Now let's see the best tablets in detail

1. Huawei MediaPad M5 Pro – my tablet, top of the range company

Huawei MediaPad M5 10.8 Pro LTE Tablet PC, Kirin 960 Series, eMMC ...

🥇 Best Huawei Tablet (To Make the Difference😉)
  • Top of the range from Huawei
  • Really superior design
  • Good speakers
  • Lower price than the top of the competition range
  • Reload quickly
  • Does not overheat during use
🥇 Best Huawei Tablet (To Make the Difference😉)
  • The camera is not on a par with tablets in the same range
  • EMUI interface a little slow
  • There is no audio input jack but the adapter is included

The Huawei Mediapad M5 Pro tablet is the best Huawei tablet that your money can buy right now.

In this review I will deal with the 10.8-inch version with LTE connection, a respectable tablet that falls into the 11 inch category.

If we consider yet another category, which is that of the "pro" tablets that run on the Android operating system, the Mediapad M5 is probably the best for the price at which it is sold.

There are different versions of the Huawei Mediapad M5 tablet.

The smallest model is the 8.4-inch model, available in the LTE version.

The large model is the 10.8-inch model. There are different options, in order of price: only with WiFi, with the LTE connection and finally the PRO model, which is the one reviewed here.

The main difference from a visual point of view is the fact that 8.4 inches looks like a big smartphone. The 10.8-inch instead is a real tablet.

To be considered as an 11-inch tablet, bigger than a 10-inch tablet, but it really doesn't look big. The rounded corners will probably give this feeling.

When I first saw this tablet live, the first thing I asked myself was, but how much does it cost?

Clear, because it has a very beautiful design. It is a single solid piece of anodized aluminum, with rounded corners, which makes it easier to grip. On the front we find the panel, made of glass. It is 2.5D, that is slightly curved at the edges, to give the feeling of three-dimensionality. It's not new and it's a nice feature, quite new. You can find it on recent smartphones and tablets.

On the back the camera protrudes outwards, at the top on the left side. Two single row "grids", if we can call them that, are always on the back. These are the very good and powerful Harman Kardon speakers. There are four in total, two per grid.

The USB port is the Type-C and can be used both for charging and On The Go (OTG). You can connect an external hard drive, or a mouse, or a keyboard. It does not have a headphone input: either bluetooth headsets are used, or you can opt for the convenient USB-minijack adapter found in the package.

It has the fingerprint sensor on the front physical key, which can also be pressed. It has the key for switching on and stand-by and those for adjusting the volume on the right edge.

Also on the right side is the slot for the micro SD card that allows you to expand the memory up to 256 gigabytes and for the SIM card in case you want to take advantage of the tablet as if it were a phone, to call or to go online through the connection data.

The 10.8-inch Pro version supports the use of the M-Pen, which you will find in the package. It is an excellent tool, which works very well. The feeling is different from the pen that came included in the Galaxy Note case. This is a "real" pen.

I tried it, it's really beautiful. The impression I had was like not being able to do without it if I had bought the tablet. I tried to write a couple of things and sketch some drawings. The tablet recognized my writing quickly; as for the design, it's like having a graphic tablet.

The pen has 4096 pressure levels and two buttons.

On the 10.8-inch Huawei Mediapad M5 Pro tablet we find Android 8.0 Oreo installed.

The graphic interface is that of the home, which is also found on smartphones and Huawei tablets. On this device is the EMUI 8.0.

The EMUI is the extra hand to the already excellent experience that the user has with Android 8.0. I reiterate something that I have already said before here, but which I will probably continue to repeat every time I talk about Huawei smartphones or tablets.

The EMUI interface is perhaps one of the most beautiful UI stocks that I personally have ever experienced. I'm a big fan of Nova Launcher, punctually installed on all the smartphones I've owned. But never installed on the Huawei Honor phone.

You can find all the various (and usual) Google applications, plus some from Huawei, specifically designed for your devices. In addition there are applications dedicated to the pen: for example, the calculator, which is nothing more than a blackboard on which you can write the most complicated mathematical formulas you remember from high school, will recognize them all.

The application for writing and editing it, using the pen, is a pleasure. If you are a writer and a text editor, you will be absolutely satisfied. If you are not, you will become it, I assure you.

I imagine a tablet like that, used to take notes during university lectures. If only I could, I'd send it back in time, to make my life better.

This section could be summarized in one word. As the Americans would say, "smooth".

Let's start with the screen, a fantastic IPS with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, or 2K. It uses ClariVu technology that handles colors better to make them more alive, making the tablet practically a portable TV.

I imagine watching movies, or a series on Netflix, on this Huawei Mediapad M5 Pro is beautiful.

To this we add the integrated speakers of the Harman Kardon, made specifically to maximize the multimedia experience.

And if you are gamers, clearly this tablet holds all the best titles in the Play Store, even those that require more computing power.

The processor is a HiSilicon Kirin, series 960, octa-core, very powerful and powerful. Multitasking is fast and runs as smooth as oil.

The battery that powers this Huawei tablet is a 7,500 thousand Ampere. It lasts very long, with a permanently lit screen you get to go over 7 hours. With an average use, you can probably get up to 3 days.

The version of the tablet reviewed here has 64 gigabytes of internal memory and 4 gigabytes of RAM.

The Mediapad M5 Pro is one of the best tablets around.

If you are an Android lover, and you want to buy a nice solid and reliable tablet, this is the one for you.

The multimedia experience is phenomenal, thanks to the excellent display and the four speakers. Then if you are an artist, or you feel like that, and you want to use the tablet to draw, this is the perfect tablet, thanks to the pen support included in the package.

A respectable autonomy is the icing on the cake.

2. Huawei Mediapad M3 Lite – good price, with 4 speakers, perfect for music and Netflix

Huawei Mediapad M3 Lite WiFi Tablet, 10 'Display, Qualcomm CPU ...

🥇 Best Huawei Tablet (To Make the Difference😉)
  • Great display with good contrast
  • Simply super 4 speaker system
  • Great price for a mid-range product
  • Respectable autonomy
  • Multimedia experience guaranteed at high levels
🥇 Best Huawei Tablet (To Make the Difference😉)
  • Not suitable for high performance gaming
  • Not perfect photos, especially in low light conditions
  • Too many applications pre-installed

Among the best-selling 10-inch tablets is the Mediapad M3 Lite, which has a feature that could be tempting for some: it has 4 integrated speakers.

There would be nothing else to say: if you are, like me, music lovers and literally addicted to movies and series; if you use the tablet for playing multimedia files; if you are always on YouTube listening to music; this is the right device for you.

A 10-inch tablet, convenient to manage, plus a tablet from Huawei, which are both in demand and therefore reliable.

Available in the WiFi version, of which we will deal in detail below, and the one equipped with LTE connection, that is useful to be able to make phone calls thanks to the SIM card slot.

We have in front a tablet that is excellent for its price range, or average. It is a little gem that imposes itself on the market thanks to its excellent autonomy and very spatial audio rendering.

The Huawei Mediapad M3 Lite tablet is a 10-inch tablet. As we know, 10-inch tablets are always the most desired and this certainly does not disappoint expectations. The screen is a Full HD with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a ratio of 16:10.

It weighs 460 grams, and is light, considering the competition. It is only 7 millimeters thick. The design is good; classic, but durable and well made. You can see it right away when you take it in your hands.

It has an internal capacity of 32 gigabytes and a RAM of 3 gigabytes. In short, a toy that lends itself very well to the most modern internet or videogame activities. If necessary, the memory can be expanded thanks to the micro SD card slot. In the LTE version, the slot is in the same compartment for the SIM card slot.

On the left side of the tablet we find the USB port for charging and the slot for micro SD card. On the right side, the volume adjustment buttons and the power and screen lock button. On the upper edge there are two speakers and the mini jack for headphones. Finally, on the lower edge, there are the other two speakers.

The tablet arrives with Android 7 installed. In addition, the Huawei tablet uses its own graphical interface, the EMUI, to version 5.1.

Don't be scared by this: the graphical interface is just a system to make it even easier to use the native operating system, that is Android. Thanks to this UI, you have more features available to make the most of your tablet. An extra help and also very welcome!

We have the classic applications available on Android devices. In addition we will have some applications of Huawei, which serve only and exclusively to improve the multimedia experience and not. Among these we mention the one for security management, the one to contact customer service and check the guarantee, a game owner store.

We will find some duplication, like the video player. It's up to us to decide which one is the best for us, and then to disable or simply forget about the other. Very simple operation.

You can also uninstall some of these pre-installed applications to save space.

The tablet we have in our hands here is equipped with a WiFi connection, very fast and stable.

It has GPS and it also works very well and is very precise.

The LTE version allows you to make phone calls or use the data connection to surf the Internet. Phone calls can be made hands-free and enjoy the full four-amp system. Or, if privacy requires it, you can rely on a headset with a microphone.

The Huawei Mediapad M3 Lite tablet has two cameras, one on the back (the main one) and a front one for selfies. Both are 8 megapixels. The main one has autofocus.

Both rooms are really good, they behave very well in terms of detail, sharpness and colors.

Even in the dark, the photos are good.

In short, if you take a lot of photos with your tablet, and if you are looking for something quality at a good price, this 10-inch tablet is for you

As mentioned before, here we have a 1920 x 1200 pixel Full HD screen. The display is an IPS, well lit. There is the ambient light sensor. If you are outside, in a park for example, and the day is particularly sunny, you will never have problems reading.

This tablet is powerful. The processor is a Snapdragon 435 octa-core. The tablet holds even the heaviest loads, although sometimes you can see some lag, but this is absolutely normal.

Internet browsing can be defined as clean. Smoothly, fast, and multitasking is well managed. You can open multiple tables on the browser and continue surfing without any problems.

The graphics processor is not that powerful. You can safely play the newest games available on the store, but those that require more computing power will go slow, at least with high graphic quality.

First strong point of this tablet. Four excellent speakers are enough to enjoy music at high volume and good quality, without distortion.

The sound is powerful, spacious and clean.

Also perfect for viewing videos, of course. If you are fond of Netflix, you can pamper yourself in bed before falling asleep with this tablet. Gold dreams will be assured.

The second strong point of the Huawei Mediapad M3 Lite tablet is the battery life. It is 6,660 milliAmpere, which may seem little, but in reality the tablet is best optimized for minimum consumption.

For a full charge it takes 5 hours.

Constantly browsing the internet, so with WiFi always on and connected, the tablet can last more than 13 hours.

Wanting to use it to watch movies, at full HD quality, the tablet again comes to last more than 13 hours.

If you make the most of it, and keep the screen brightness to maximum, you get just over 5 hours.

Clearly, if you turn off the WiFi, and you use the tablet for example only for reading, with an average brightness, you get to touch the 20 hours of duration and exceed them.

If you are looking for a 10-inch tablet, with excellent audio performance and great autonomy, you are on horseback. The Huawei Mediapad M3 Lite tablet is perfect and you will not feel the need to desire more.

To this we add a good IPS display and two excellent cameras, just to make your mouth water.

3. Huawei Mediapad T3 10 – the The best 10 inch tablet that's there, even inexpensive!

Huawei Mediapad T3 10 Wi-Fi Tablet, Quad-Core A53 CPU, 2 GB RAM, ...

🥇 Best Huawei Tablet (To Make the Difference😉)
  • Good compact design
  • Display with good contrast
  • Processor powerful enough for a smooth experience
  • The battery has a good autonomy
🥇 Best Huawei Tablet (To Make the Difference😉)
  • It does not have an auto brightness sensor
  • Not suitable for particularly demanding games
  • Not suitable for professional photos

Huawei tablets are in great demand and are omnipresent in the lists of best-selling tablets on the market. In particular, here we go to see in detail the 10-inch Huawei Mediapad T3 tablet equipped with WiFi.

I immediately note that here you are only spoiled for choice. While we will be dealing with the 10-inch version of this tablet, know that the same is available in 8-inch and 7-inch sizes, for those looking for something smaller. Moreover for each of them it is also possible to opt for the 3G version and also the 4G LTE version, necessary if you want to insert a sim in your tablet and use it with the data connection or to make phone calls.

Apparently, of all the available options of the Mediapad T3, the most requested is precisely the 10 inch tablet and is confirmed on the market one year after its release in 2017, with its HD screen and aluminum body.

For reading, probably someone will want to opt for smaller 7-inch or 8-inch versions. The 10 inches is great for those who have to read even for work, for those who always have digital documents in their hands and must constantly edit them.

So if you read a lot, both for duty and pleasure, the 10-inch Huawei MediaPad T3 tablet is the solution to both requests.

Huawei borrows the Apple design idea and applies it beautifully to this Mediapad T3 tablet. So body on the back made of anodized aluminum, solid and resistant. The corners are rounded to give the feeling of stability that a device necessarily needs.

The screen has a ratio of 16:10, a thickness of 8 millimeters and weighs only 458 grams, making it one of the lightest 10-inch tablets in this price range.

The tablet has 16 gigabytes of internal memory, expandable thanks to the SD card slot up to 128 gigabytes, and 2 gigabytes of RAM. We have the ability to install applications on external memory.

On the lower edge is the speaker for listening to audio. On the upper edge the integrated microphone. On the right side there are the volume control and the screen lock button. On the left side there is a mini jack headphone jack, the micro USB input for charging (which can be used as an On The Go input, to be able to use external devices, such as a hard disk or a mouse or keyboard , and it is a 2.0) and the slot for the micro SD card. Furthermore, depending on the model you buy, there will also be accommodation for the SIM card, useful if you are looking for a tablet to call.

It does not have a sensor for automatic adjustment of the screen lighting. However, it has an integrated pedometer device, the gyroscope, the accelerometer and the GPS.

The Huawei Mediapad T3 tablet comes with Android 7.0 already installed, without having to download any updates. Clearly the system is very recent, and not only. Huawei apparently continues to release patches, which serve to make the operating system even more stable and optimized.

If you know Huawei, you will be aware of the proprietary user interface, the EMUI, which is also used on smartphones in the same house. Excellent, it does not weigh down the operating system, on the contrary, it tends to make full use of it and make the various options more accessible.

If you don't know Huawei, you can rest assured, the touch experience on one of their devices is very intuitive. Usually people remain faithful to the brand, to remain faithful to the interface. Well, Huawei is not missing the previous device.

There are also proprietary applications pre-installed on the tablet, such as an antivirus, a personal data protection application, the Office suite, and various others. It's up to you to find out how best to use them, and if you don't need them, you can easily turn them off.

Always remembering that this is the Huawei Mediapad T3 tablet equipped with WiFi only, the connection is 802.11 a / b / g / n. Supports communication with both 2.4 and 5 GHz networks.

In the case of the tablet also equipped with LTE, we find the slot for the SIM and the supported connection is a 4G. Of course you can call with your tablet and even use it with the data connection to surf the internet.

The calls are comfortable because the integrated microphone works very well. You can opt, if you wish, for headsets with a microphone, if you prefer privacy, especially in open spaces or public places.

On the back of the tablet is the 5 megapixel main camera. The selfie camera on the front is 2 megapixel. It is possible to record video with the rear camera at 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, or in HD. The camera is certainly not the strong point of this tablet.

If the great image quality doesn't interest you and you are very amateur photographers, who simply aim to have simple tangible memories of your life experiences, then you will have no problem.

The photos taken from the main room are discreet, with not very vivid colors. Even in optimal light conditions, the camera does not excel.

The 10-inch Huawei Mediapad T3 tablet has an IPS screen. It behaves very well for what can be considered a standard use of a tablet. The videos displayed on YouTube are pleasant and the tablet can easily be used in the evening in bed, to view a series on Netflix. The brightness is very good, it is brighter than the previous model (Mediapad T2).

Even when outdoors, at maximum brightness, it will still be possible to work without making special efforts with eyes to concentrate.

The viewing angle is also good. The image begins to suffer distortions in brightness when the angle under which the screen is viewed is increased, but the content still remains visible and recognizable.

On this tablet we find a Qualcomm MSM8917, a quad-core processor that is used for devices of this economic range.

In terms of performance, Huawei has improved performance with the Mediapad T3 compared to T2. The graphic sector is struggling a bit. It is not possible to play the newest, most "demanding" titles in terms of power. You can also try but you will notice hiccups, at least if you try to play at high settings.

The activity in which the Huawei Mediapad T3 tablet is excellent is reading and writing. If you use the tablet to keep your work documents at hand, if you are a writer (amateur or not) who always carries the tablet around to never miss a moment of inspiration, this is absolutely the tablet for you.

This is one of the strong points of the Mediapad T3. The battery life of this tablet is really good.

If you use it in offline mode, so not connected to WiFi, and with the screen set to an average brightness, without overloading it with processes, it can last up to over 18 hours. That is, to read documents and edit them, it is perfect, it does not leave you on foot easily, and you can use it even for more than a day without having to recharge it.

If you use it to watch videos in full HD, it will last just under 9 hours. So you can use it to watch series or movies without too many thoughts.

Used connected to the internet, continuing to surf the net constantly, the tablet lasts just over 7 hours. Very good result.

Finally, squeezed as it should, used abundantly and with maximum brightness, it will last just under 4 hours.

The 10-inch Huawei Mediapad T3 tablet is a great choice for reading lovers looking for a tablet and not just a device for reading. The tablet is an "entry level", with a good display and a good battery, and it doesn't cost much.

The tablet is very solid and well built, it is light, thin, and runs on the new Android 7.

The battery has a great autonomy and is a plus point for this tablet.

It is the perfect tablet also for work and for those who have to deal with many digital documents, to edit constantly or to keep always within reach to read them. This is the activity in which this tablet ranks first in its economic segment.
